Numb

At this point,

I feel nothing.

Because I don’t know what to feel,

I feel alone,

I feel secluded,

But most of all,

I feel numb.

Tears roll down my cheeks,

And the salt stings my eyes.

I laugh and I’m happy.

I cry,

I bleed,

I scream,

And I’m numb.

Tears turn to ice on my cheeks,

And my eyes become dry.

I begin to lose the feeling in my body,

And my heart stops beating.

I don’t know if I’m okay,

I don’t know if I’ll ever be okay.

I cry,

I bleed,

I scream;

I am numb.
