Burden

Whatever you do,

You don't believe in me.

My word is worth nothing to you from what I can tell.

You set my eyes ablaze;

I guess I don't need any answers.

What is all of this to you?

I can't believe the atrocities I've seen you commit on me.

The forests of my soul all have one tree.

You know I'm lucky to still be breathing,

But you want me to buy the bloody furniture you made

Because "It's on sale, and we're over stocked."

Stop. Time out.

How about you shut your goddamn mouth.

Go find your own kind.

Disperse all of your lies.

A single tear isn't good enough.

I want to watch you drown from them.
