I Cannot Yet Say Goodbye...

I buried your voice in the ground today and under 6 feet of snow.

Oh baby where we blended, is where we folded into each other, and casting out all the darkest rain that fueled our plight.

I was the sunflower to your sky.

You wrapped me up in your horizon,
I followed you to the dawn.

We traced the blue canvas with our plane marking white trails upward touching the light.

Our scalloped cloud dreams, and our beliefs, never more than pure love furrowed in the depths of time.

Our time.

Oh baby where we blended, is where we folded into each other, and casting out all the darkest storms that ruptured our nights.

I was the pebble to your ocean.

You washed me over in your waters,
I followed you to the tide.

We painted the tarps with our colored feathers bleeding their shades into the light.

Our sun filled dreams, and our beliefs, never more than the purest love fluted into the membrane of life.

Our life.

Oh baby where we blended, is where we folded into each other.

And I cannot yet say goodbye.
