NATURES' CALL

WHEN THE ICE MELTS

THE SNOW ALL GONE

AND THE COLD FROST

LEAVES THE GROUND,

IT'S NATURES' CALL.

WHEN THE RAINS BEGIN

THE FLOWERS TO BLOOM

AND THE TREES AND GRASS

TURN TO GREEN,

IT'S NATURES' CALL.

WHEN THE STREAMS SWELL

THE RIVERS RUNNING HIGH

AND THE WARM SUN

BRINGS LIFE TO ALL,

IT'S NATURES' CALL.

WHEN ALL THE ANIMALS

WITH THEIR YOUNG BORN

AND ALL THE INSECTS

SPREADING THE POLLEN,

IT'S NATURES' CALL.

WHEN THE STORMS CRASH

WITH THUNDER AND LIGHTNING

AND THE WINDS BLOW

GENTLY OR STRONG,

IT'S NATURES' CALL.

WHEN LEAVES TURN COLOR

FALLING TO THE GROUND

AND THE LONGER NIGHTS

BEGIN TO COOL,

IT'S NATURES' CALL.

WHEN THE BLIZZARDS HOWL

BLINDING AND FREEZING ALL

AND THE SNOW BUILDS

INTO HIGH DRIFTS,

IT'S NATURES' CALL.

WHEN A YOUNG LAD

GROWS INTO MANHOOD

AND HIS THOUGHTS

TURN TO LOVE,

IT'S NATURES' CALL.
