SOARING LOVE

THE BALD HEADED EAGLE,

WITH NO THOUGHTS OF SHORES;

SPREADS HIS WINGS WIDE,

O'ER THE MOUNTAINS HE SOARS.

THE EAGLE KNOWS NO BOUNDS,

A GREAT FREE SPIRIT IS HE.

HIGH ABOVE ALL THE REST,

HE PROUDLY FEELS HIS MAJESTY.

HIGH ON A MOUNTAIN LEDGE,

THE EAGLE HAS HIS START.

HIS MATE HE HAS FOR LIFE,

ONLY DEATH WILL MAKE THEM PART.

HIS PIERCING EYE SPOTS HIS PREY;

PLUMMETING FROM A MILE HIGH,

WITH DEADLY ACCURACY, TALONS WIDE,

TO RETURN TO HIS AERIE, IN THE SKY.

ONE DAY WE'LL BE THE EAGLES,

OUR LORD PERMITTING IT TO BE.

DEVOTION WILL KNOW NO LIMITS,

FAITH AS WIDE AS THE SEA.
