EIGHTEEN PLAYERS IN ALL, MAKING RUNS THE GAME.

PITCHER THROWS THE BALL, CROUCHING BACKCATCHER IS READY.

THE BATTER RIGHTLY CONNECTS, HIS JUDGEMENT WAS STEADY.

 

STRAIGHT TO LEFT FIELD, THE BALL SPEEDS ON.

BAT LANDS ON THE GROUND, THE HITTER IS GONE.

 

RUNNING TO FIRST BASE, ONE EYE ON THE BALL.

SECOND BASE UP NEXT, FIELDER TOOK A FALL.

 

THIRD BASE IS PAST, BALL ON THE WAY IN.

HE'S RUNNING FULL TILT, TEAMMATES RAISING A DIN.

 

BALL SMACKS CATCHERS' MITT, HIS ARM SWINGS ABOUT.

NEARLY A HOME RUN, BUT, THE RUNNER IS OUT!
