GRIZZLY BEARS ARE FEARSOME ANIMALS;

SOME AS TALL AS EIGHT FEET.

WITH SAVAGE TEETH AND SHARP CLAWS;

A TERRIBLE MENACE FOR ONE TO MEET!

THEY WILL RIP APART ROTTING LOGS;

EATING THE TERMITES AND ANTS.

EVEN FIGHTING ANGRY BEES FOR HONEY;

WILD BERRIES ALSO, HAVE NO CHANCE!

THEY'RE ALSO SAVAGE MEAT EATERS;

DOMESTIC ANIMALS ARE EASY PREY.

HAVING NO FEAR OF ANYTHING LIVING;

EVEN MAN-KILLS MAKE HIS DAY!

POWERFUL FOREPAWS CAN BREAK ANY NECK;

ONE SWIPE IS ALL IT TAKES.

STRONG JAWS BREAK BONES WITH EASE;

FEROCIOUS GROWLS GIVE ALL THE SHAKES!

AFTER EATING HIS FILL OF MEAT,

THE DEAD CARCASS HE WILL BURY.

WHEN HIS HUNGER RENEWS AGAIN,

HE'LL RETURN, TO UNEARTH HIS QUARRY.

HIS TERRITORY HE MARKS WITH CLAWS,

SCRATCHING TREES HIGH AS HE CAN STRETCH.

USUALLY STAYS WITHIN TEN SQUARE MILES,

LOOKING OUT FOR ANY UNWARY WRETCH!
